The Tower Top Amplifier (TTA) is designed to expand signal coverage through enhancing the uplink receiving sensitivity in the area where call drops and handoff failures happen frequently.
It is installed on the top of telecommunication tower to amplify the mobile signal via a low-noise amplifier before the signal is transmitted to the BS.
n Lower the noise figure and enhance the uplink receiving level of base station to effectively improve the BS coverage area
n Eliminate the noise and interference brought by long RF cable to the base station
n Reduce transmitting power of mobile to extend battery life and eliminate mutual interference due to sharing the same or adjacent frequency in the uplink
n Adopt protective enclosure from lightening and raining to work for all weather
n Automatic bypass system is offered to ensure continued operation of base station when TTA has DC power failure
Working as an auxiliary equipment of Base Station Power Amplifier to improve the balance between uplink and downlink.
